LADY SNOWBLOOD
“It is said that karma can stain the unborn”, a chilling phrase given from mother to her daughter, Yuki: a daughter spawned as an instrument of death and revenge. This film poster series serves as promotional materials and merchandise for the 1973 samurai film Lady Snowblood. This morbid account is illustrated through the use of high contrast, gritty imagery, edgy blackletter typography, and a limited color palette, with blood red staining each poster.
