BANNER

In Gothic fashion, the banner uses the lowercase letters of the condensed Blackletter font Amador. They banner has been kerned to the point of overlap, each letter cutting into the next giving an attractive vertical negative space between them.

COVER

The cover features a bright and eye catching photo of Line Lovich and Nina Hagen from 1979. It highlights one of the two feature spreads “Gothic Fashion History” in a bright pink different style of Blackletter font.

SOCIAL MEDIA

An example of a seamless Instagram post highlighting the first volume and feature spread with the use of edgy, cracked concrete backgrounds and the uppercase, outlined type of the same blackletter font as the banner.
